A Melbourne man is fighting for his life after he was dragged by a train at Heatherdale Station.
Jason Roberts, 57, was dragged several metres when becoming wedged between a platform and a departing train he was trying to board on Saturday.
He has suffered broken limbs, ribs and racial fractures and remains in intensive care.
‘Our thoughts are with the passenger who was involved in Saturday’s incident,’ they said.
‘Metro’s highest priority is the safety of its passengers and staff.’
