Commonwealth Bank’s mobile app and net banking services are currently unavailable due to a nationwide outage. 

The CommBank app, NetBank and BPAY services have been affected by the outage, forcing some branches to close.

“We are currently experiencing an issue affecting some of our services,” the bank tweeted.

“We are urgently investigating this and we’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will provide further updates here.”

Cardless cash, some in-branch services and call centre services may also be out, the bank said.

Customers have taken to social media to express their irritation of the disruption, with many urging to be compensated for the outage.

“Can’t even transfer money to pay for my fuel, no I’m stuck at the service station!” one customer wrote.

“I can’t transfer, and am going to get excess charges as a result. Could you please confirm there will be recomponse [sic] for this outage? It’s costing me money and I would like it back,” wrote another.

Another added, “Im overseas and currently cannot transfer any money to my travel card, and im out of cash. When will this transfer issue be resolved?”

CommBank assure customers that they are urgently investigating the issue, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
