It’s been revealed that Moreland City Council has made a controversial ban on meat dishes on Mondays as part of a new initiative to reduce initiative.

Meat dishes have reportedly been banned by at all council events on the first day of the week, according to Councillor Oscar Yildiz.

“We can’t be going around expecting our residents to be reducing their emissions without first trying to reduce our own,” Councillor Dale Martin told The Age.

In response, there have been reports of a BBQ protest by carnivores.
