If you feel like you’re in a sauna, you’re not alone. Many parts of Melbourne woke up to a thick layer of fog as the East Gippsland bushfires rage on.
After sweeping into town last night, the haze is expected to stick around for a few days with at least a moderate air quality level.

It’ll become more uncomfortable for locals as the temperatures rise over the weekend, including a prediction of 29 degrees on Saturday.
Even though the fog is never ideal, it won’t be as intense at what we experienced last month. Still, it is smart to be cautious, especially if you have respiratory issues.
