As Melbourne settles into a weekend of hot and stormy weather, locals are being warned about poor air quality moving in.

The EPA AirWatch website has predicted that the city’s air quality will worsen due to a dust storm travelling from South Australia. It is also being predicted that we could be hit with ‘dirty rain’ again.

VicEmergency released a warning at 12.34pm on Friday with an ‘advice’ level. It states that people should limit their time outdoors and to call 000 should they have trouble breathing.
