Melbourne had an interesting, and somewhat dangerous, commute late Tuesday afternoon when the city was battered with large hailstones, strong winds storms.
In fact, parts of Melbourne have recorded a month’s worth of rain in less than 24 hours!
The State Emergency Service (SES) responded to 450 calls, which included building damage, flood, traffic hazards and fallen trees.

Visibility had also dropped to 400m while commuters were rushing to get home, most likely to be met with hail on their property or nearby.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted further wet weather for this week, but not to this extent. However, the weekend will see sunny skies.
