If you needed another reason to be inside today, this is it.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for Melbourne as damaging winds which could peak at 90-100km/h move across the state.
Northerly winds are expected to strengthen overnight ahead of a cold front on Monday. A Severe Weather Warning for damaging winds about elevated terrain has been issued. Details here: https://t.co/47fPtSteq6 #VicWeather pic.twitter.com/aKt1qvMFhF

The city was already lashed overnight, with St Kilda recording gusts of 85km/h just after 6:30AM and 82km/h at Melbourne Airport just before 5am.
SES received 60 calls over the last 24 hours across the state which were mostly fallen trees.
SES has advised people who live in affected areas, including Melbourne north and eastern suburbs and Yarra Valley should secure their outdoor loose items including tables and trampolines. Vehicles should also be moved.
And, funnily enough, the SES has also said that Melburnians should stay inside! What are the odds!
Stay safe, everyone!
