Sydney’s iconic burger joint Mary’s is coming to Melbourne next week!!
The rock’n’roll-inspired den is setting up shop at 167 Franklin Street in the CBD on Monday January 20 – delivering their drool-worthy cheeseburgers, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fries and vegan options.
Just like in Sydney, they’ll be using local suppliers including beef from O’Connor in Gippsland and free-range chickens from Bannockburn.
And for those of you looking to wet your whistle there’ll be an extensive variety of beers on offer and a 100-strong wine list.
To get into Mary’s you’ll enter through a laneway with the entrance marked with a red light.
“We’re coming to Melbourne very humble, knowing that Melbourne does not need us,” co-owner Kenny Graham told Broadsheet.
“Whether [people] want us or not, we’re coming and we’re treating it like it’s day one for us, the same way Newtown was.
“We’re not taking anything for granted –we’re going to fight for this like we fought for everywhere else.”
