Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has declared a state of emergency in Victoria.

The emergency will last for four weeks to try and help ‘flatten the curve’ of cases.

At this stage, schools will remain open and public transport will operate as normal.

Overnight, there have been 14 more cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Victoria, with 71 cases in the state alone.

Australia now has over 250 cases nationwide.
