Westbourne Grammar in Truganina has been closed for at least two days after a student had to be tested for coronavirus.
Principal Meg Hansen informed parents on Thursday night via email confirming the news.
“A senior school student is currently being tested for the virus and we are awaiting the results.
“Given that the health and safety of all in our community is our highest priority, as a precautionary measure, we have taken the decision to close the school on Friday 13 March and Monday 16 March 2020.”
On Thursday afternoon, six more people were said to have been diagnosed with COVID-19. It brought the state’s total to 27.
