There’s been a lucky escape in Cranbourne this morning.
Two cars collided at about 8am at the intersection of Barkly Street and Normanby Street.
One of the cars then careened into a nearby house where two occupants were in bed. They did not suffer any injuries.
Miraculously the drivers escaped with non-life threatening injuries and the three kids in one of the cars were unharmed.
“It could’ve been a lot worse,” Senior Constable James Smith said
“Had the car decided to give or struck the car in a different spot, we could’ve been looking at a different set of circumstances.”
