From DIY nit treatments to homemade cough medicine and ‘coffee naps’, the Internet is known for its wacky remedies, but have we just discovered one that actually works?
The Twitter-verse has been sent into a frenzy over a little-known hack that promises to put an end to those pesky hay fever symptoms.
Goodbye sneezing, runny noses, itchy eyes, and that irritable throat. Hello… Vaseline?
Yep, you read that right – good ol’ Vaseline could be the trick to fixing the dreaded effects of hay fever.
The trick is to apply a layer of the petroleum jelly into the insides of your nostrils. And no, not just at the end of your nose – the higher up, the better.
Hay fever sufferers have confirmed its preventative effects, addressing the Vaseline’s ability to act as a barrier balm that can physically stop the pollen from entering the nasal passage.
No doubt it sounds super bizarre, but sufferers are all for it!
Been suffering badly with hayfever the last couple of days, then my daughter said to put Vaseline up my nose! Haven’t sneezed all day and only cost me 80p, made up thought she was taking the piss 😂👍
