Credit card company Mastercard has changed it’s logo – and the internet is not impressed!
In a statement on their website, Mastercard revealed it was officially dropping the word “Mastercard” from its logo, where it’s sat for the last 50 years.
“The Mastercard symbol represents Mastercard better than one word ever could and the flexible modern design will allow it to work seamlessly across the digital landscape,” the statement said.

After posting the new logo on Twitter, naturally, the people of the internet decided to rip it to shreds.
