A clean street makes for a beautiful home environment, but not everyone can take one for the team. It’s a shame that some residents choose to dump unwanted items, and Melburnians have had enough – at least in Moonee Valley!
Through the ‘Snap, Send, Solve’ app, residents in the area can share their dilemmas with the council and have them resolved. Moonee Ponds filed the most reports, with a large chunk of them having to do with rubbish.
The council received around 13 cases of rubbish a week during 2019 from residents in the suburb, followed closely by abandoned shopping trollies and graffiti.
Ascot Vale was also up there with many reports about damaged pavement, while water complaints took up the majority of Essendon resident’s issues.
