A writer, Joanna Della-Ragione, decided to try Kim Kardashian’s duct tape cleavage trick, and found out it wasn’t as simple as she thought.
She tried it on her size 32E breasts, and gave herself an inadvertent breast wax.
“Having studied Kim’s technique, I deduced she used strips of the tape to create a sort of halter neck sling that lifts and brings boobs together,” Della-Ragione wrote for Daily Mail. “Using about 10 long strips of gaffer, I recreated Kim’s homemade bra. It worked! My bosom was pert, full, lifted and supported—amazing results!”

But it didn’t go quite as she planned…
“It was extremely uncomfortable to wear and far worse to take off. I gave myself an inadvertent breast wax and removed some skin in the process. My skin was still red and raw hours later.” (Ouch.)
She compared the technique to others on the market, including adhesive bras and body tape. Although the Gaffer tape worked the best, it was mostly because the other bras didn’t come in her size.
“But just because it works, doesn’t mean to say it looks good. I felt ridiculous.”
