Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits have been selling well and FAST.
The first time the 18-year-old reality TV star launched the lip gloss line, it sold out in minutes.
However very soon after, Kylie announced that Kylie Cosmetics would be chnging the style of the applicator brush in the next restock.
The reason Kylie gave for the updated brush design was that the brush was a bit too long, so they would be shortening it in the future version of the product.
However it wasn’t until customer’s brushes actually arrived that we worked out the truth.
MANY of the gloss brushes in the first release were frayed when they were pulled out of the tube.
Beauty vlogger and cosmetics creator Jeffree Star tweeted his frustrations about the new product when he discovered his not so perfect applicator too.
So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses…. SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable. pic.twitter.com/NCkkUer2aV

No shade but… How the fuck can a multimillion dollar celebrity, think this is acceptable?? Was there no quality control?

It didn’t take long for other who purchased the glosses to chime in too.
@JeffreeStar I opened mine and was like this is a joke right… pic.twitter.com/7lnsL3KKO9

Then Kylie took to her cosmetics account twitter to explain her plans for fixing the problem…
So good or bad, I love hearing your feedback. When I saw the problem with my lip gloss brushes I stopped all production and changed it.
