While not strictly an Aussie invention in it’s origin, musk sticks have been a perennial faveroute here for generations.
The Swedes say they can’t cop them, and that’s pretty rich considering they consider they eat THE stinkiest fish in the world, and their idea of a tasty treat is bitter tasting licorice covered in rock salt.

Apparently they were added to the Museum of Disgusting Food’s collection back in November.
So what do you reckon, are the Swedes right or are musk sticks a deserved part of Aussie cuisine?
I love musk sticks. I don’t eat them very often, but prefer the lard ones to the soft ones. They are certainly not in the same putrid league as Surströmming. pic.twitter.com/VcnEBqx7jI
