A Melbourne restaurant has introduced new measures in a bid to protect its customers from the spread of CoVid-19.
Italian restaurant La Camera Southgate, which is on Melbourne’s Southbank, will now check the temperature of all customers before they enter.
The restaurant has said that while fever is just one of the common symptoms, the rest would alert staff to those who are already showing symptoms.
The restaurant has also cut its seating capacity by half and separated all their tables based upon the social distancing recommendations issued by the health authorities.
“We are going the extra mile when it comes to our menus, tables, cutlery, glassware, etc,” the owners said in a statement.
“We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitising hard surfaces such as doors, touch screens, restrooms and so much more.”
