A super-organised pantry has raised eyebrows on social media, with one saying child protection should be alerted.

At first glance, the picture, posted to Kmart Unhacks & Roasts Facebook page, seems straight forward.

I mean, it’s a pretty sweet pantry where everything has its place.

But it’s the noticeboard on the left that’s ruffled feathers.

The second point on a list of ‘Pantry Rules’ on the wall to the left of the picture details the mum’s threat of violence if her kiddos messed up the shelves.

“I spent two days organizing this pantry, if you mess it up I WILL CUT YOU, with much love Mum,” it said.

Of course, many zeroed-in on it:

“Ill cut u is prob as bit much lol”

“You’ll cut your loved ones…feral”

“OMG, this woman needs to calm down”

“I’d never put a sign up like for my children to read. I don’t get why people think it’s funny”

Things then dialled-up with a comment taking the “threat” seriously.

“Pretty sure this type of threat warrants opening a case with child protection”

The pitchfork-poking didn’t stop at the noticeboard. Those that either didn’t notice or care about the ‘Pantry Rules’ were more shocked at the lack of food.

“That’s not a pantry, it’s a glorified linen cupboard that’s presumably in the kitchen!! Pantries have food in them!!!”

“Hope ur not hungry, kids”

“Why is the wine unreachable!? That’s the real travesty”

Ain’t that the truth.
