A group of people have copped fines after they were found to be breaking social-distancing rules while reportedly doing burnouts.
23 people were issued fines and one person a caution after being reported for gathering in a group in Burton, Adelaide last night.
Police were called to a dead-end street just before 10:30pm on Saturday night, finding 13 cars that had congregated.
In South Australia, groups of 10 or more people are banned from gathering during the coronavirus pandemic, with SAPOL given the power to issue on-the-spot fines for $1,000.
Last week, SAPOL issued a group of people fines in Coober Pedy after 17 people attended a birthday party.
