We’ve heard of guide dogs, but what about a service snake?

That’s exactly what one man has claimed after taking his boa constrictor to a restaurant in the US.

Patrons were left freaked out after the man and woman walked in with a snake in tow.

Talking to CNN, one customer told of her fear when she spotted their companion.

“It started to slither down into the booth behind her,” she said.

But when they approached the restaurant’s owner they were told it was apparently a service animal so it was allowed to stay.

After being approached by customers directly the man backed up the claim.


“He said, ‘It’s my service animal. And I’m allowed to have it because it helps me with my depression’,” one customer reported.

Were not sure eating with snakes will take off like cat cafes…
