While on Paternity leave, Mark Zuckerberg became the world’s sixth richest person and fourth wealthiest in the US.
It is understood that during Zuckerberg’s two months paternity leave, he made $800 million dollars.
Following Facebook’s stock climb of 12 percent, the Facebook CEO’s wealth soared to $47.9 billion.
At just 31, Zuckerberg is now the youngest person on the world’s top ten richest list, sitting above Google founder Larry Page, the Koch brothers and Oracle’s Larry Ellison.
Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, welcomed their Daughter Max (Maxima) in November.
The couple have pledged to give away 99 percent of his wealth over his lifetime to charities.
