Seeing the world in colour – it’s not something you ever really think about.

But what if you’re colourblind?

Having seen the world in its full spectrum of colours, it’s hard to understand what it must be like to see certain shades for the first time.

But this video will give you some idea of what it’s like for the nearly 300 million people who experience life without colour.

As part of the experiment from Valspar Paint and EnChroma, the beautiful short doco shows what happens when these people see colour for the first time in their lives… and it’s surprisingly touching.

From experiencing a sunset, to being able to fully appreciate your kids drawings, it’s amazing how big a role colour plays in life.
