Vogue editor, Elisabeth Von Thurn Und Taxis, is being slammed after posting a photo on Instagram of a homeless person holding a Vogue magazine. The photo was captioned “Paris is full of surprises… and @voguemagazine readers in unexpected corners!”

The person is covered up in a hooded jacket on a street in Paris, beneath a sleeping bag and surrounded by their belongings.

People have not taken to the post kindly with many slamming the writer with “poor taste.”

One person wrote “This photo is cruel and in really poor taste.”

Elisabeth however responded to the comment by writing “Why cruel? The person to me is as dignified as anyone else!”

She has since deleted the post and instead uploaded a new snap of Paris writing “I wanted to extend my sincerest apologies for the offense my post has caused. Yours truly Elisabeth.”
