The Project is set to get a new co-host, according to News!
Tom Tilley has announced that after 12 years, he’s leaving Triple J for the Channel 10 gig in mid-December.
Tilley is best known for his role hosting the news and current affairs program ‘Hack’.
“It’s been a mind-blowing ride for me. As a naive triple j listener growing up in Mudgee, I could never have imagined what’s played out,” commented Tilley.
“Now it’s time to let another passionate hungry young journo take the reins at Hack and for me to take the next step in my career.”
Tilley has been a contributor to The Project, but it’s being reported he will have an enhanced role in 2020.
It comes as host Hamish McDonald recently announced he’d be leaving the show to host Q&A on ABC.
