Pinterest is pretty much the Holy Grail for any bride-to-be – or, indeed, anyone who has even thought about becoming a bride-to-be.
So with hundreds of thousands of gorgeous images of centrepieces, aisle decorations, invitation designs and reception ideas to choose from, it’s hard to even imagine one particular wedding dress being so popular among Pinners that 2.5 million people have added it to their wedding board.
But the “Hollie” dress is just that Pin-worthy.
The gown, which is designed by Aussie label Grace Loves Lace, is remarkably simple; far from the Cinderella-esque traditional wedding dress with layers of tulle and satin, the pretty lace creation has been described as “bohemian luxe with a polished twist”.
Regardless of what exactly sets the dress apart from so many others, Grace Loves Lace just cannot keep up with demand.
The company receives a whopping 500 enquiries a week about the Hollie, with 2,000 having already been sold.
In fact, due to the sheer popularity of the design, the designer has resurrected the now-off-sale dress with a new version, the “Hollie 2.0” – although there’s already a staggering 700 dresses already on order.
Grace Loves Lace describes Hollie 2.0 as having “signature stretch French lace bodice with artfully placed hand-cut lace motifs and drapes of silk chiffon flowing from the waist and shoulders… Hollie 2.0 is made for the bride wanting maximum impact whilst staying completely comfortable and naturally beautiful.”
How gorgeous! We can’t imagine the popularity of this dreamy design will slow anytime soon as more and more brides spot it online!
