It is being reported that the X Factor Australia has been axed for 2017.
The Music Network has reported the news with a Channel Seven representative has apparently confirmed the news to them, saying no deal has been signed for the show.
The rep went on to say that officially no decision ‘has been made’, but the rumours come amid falling ratings for the show.
The axing comes just weeks after seven announced the end of Dancing With The Stars.
Channel Seven is reportedly looking to replace the show with a romantic reality series, as they look to compete with The Bachelor.
No auditions have been advertised for the X-Factor, so we could be seeing the final ever episode, tonight at 7:30 PM as one of Vlado Saric, Davey Woder, Amalia Foy and Isaiah Firebrace will be crowned this year’s winner.
