Channel Nine’s Today Show has hit an all-time low in the ratings, with just 177,000 people tuning in yesterday.

This is the lowest number for its weekday edition since ratings started to be audited by OzTAM in 2001.

Sunrise pulled in 300,000 viewers across the capital cities, with ABC news drawing 145,000.

The new look Today launched with Georgie Gardner, Deb Knight and Tom Steinfort at the desk four weeks ago.

Nine Programming Director Hamish Turner has said he isn’t worried, telling industry site TV Tonight: “This show runs 3 hours 7 days a week if you include Weekend Today, 365 days a year. So it’s a marathon not a sprint, and I think even over the past week they have found their groove.”

The Today Show airs on Channel 9, weekdays from 5:30AM and on weekends from 7AM.
