It is alleged that George Michael tried to end his relationship with his lover Fadi Fawaz in the last 18 months, a relative has told UK newspaper The Sun.
The star is alleged to have told is on-off boyfriend not to come to his home as he attempted to sever all ties.
However, the family member has said that George found himself drawn back to the hair stylist on more than one occasion.
The relative added: “On more than one occasion George told Fadi he no longer wanted to see him, but each time they would find themselves back in touch.
“George was so kind and generous, but he said to me many times that his biggest weakness was he could never say no to anything — sex, drugs — he had that sort of personality.
“In many ways, he was quite a vulnerable person, because he always said yes. He never stood his ground.”
Reports have emerged following George’s death suggesting the pair had been estranged for 18 months.
Fadi, 40, found George dead on Christmas day and has admitted their relationship was ‘very complicated.’
An initial post-mortem was inconclusive, and officials are now waiting on toxicology results.
