One word seems to sum-up Netflix’s new horror movie – sick.
Viewers of The Perfection are reporting headaches, nausea and even vomiting.
Girls star Allison Williams plays Charlotte, an elite cellist who travels to Shanghai for a music competition, where she meets up-and-coming prodigy, Lizzie.
The pair bond pretty quickly and decide to take off to the Chinese countryside on a road trip.
This is where things get weird.
In the back of a bus, Lizzie, dealing with a hangover, projectile vomits across a window.
The next shot gets worse, showing the vom crawling with maggots.
The pair are thrown off the bus after Lizzie is struck with a bout of diarrhea on board… she then vomits some more bug-infested bile.
Regardless of the gore, online reviews have urged people to watch.
Here’s what the internet is saying…
The Perfection was literally Black Swan meets Get Out meets The Human Centipede on crack

#ThePerfection is wild, yet so mesmerizing, that you simply can’t look away.
When you think it’s going one way, BOOM, it slaps in the face and tells you “no, we’re going in a whole other direction.”
Whether you love it or hate it. This is something you have see to believe. pic.twitter.com/9wf3eMlqvX

Yowza, just finished The Perfection, a what-the-hell-is-happening revenge thriller that is so batshit crazy I’m questioning my own sanity right now. pic.twitter.com/nvfTNL3vPN

I don’t know if there’s a movie I’ve seen recently that disturbed, shocked, and wowed me more than #thePerfection. Must see for any horror/suspense fan.
