Channel Nine has revealed its plans for 2017 – including a brand-new reality show that’s certain to make headlines!
The Last Resort: Love Me Or Leave Me is being described as a real-life soap opera as five long-term couples take part in a bold social experiment in an attempt to save their troubled relationships.
Having reached rock bottom, they’ll be forced to face their problems on camera – from infidelity to trust to a lack of intimacy.
And there’s no chance of escape with the couples trapped on a “beautiful tropical island”!
According to Nine, the intensive relationship boot camp will be led by relationship experts as each couple decide whether to call it quits or recommit.
Considering the headlines that Nine’s Married At First Sight and Channel Seven’s Seven Year Switch have made over recent years, we’re guessing this latest offering will be the new show that people will love to hate!
The New Channel Nine Reality Show’s We’ll Be Talking About In 2017:
Australian Ninja Warrior
The worldwide phenomenon is coming to Australia with Rebecca Maddern taking the 250 contestants through one of the biggest and most challenging outdoor sports courses. We’ll be watching for out for moments like this…
Family Food Fight
Think MKR crossed with Gogglebox as Aussie families go head to head in the kitchen to win “the experience of a lifetime”. At least that’s what we’re imagining!
Six groups of ordinary Australians take on the role of travel critic – we’re guessing this will pretty much be An Idiot Abroad on steroids! Obviously comic gold.
Love watching ridiculous stuff on YouTube? Well Sophie Monk and Nick Cody will be bringing the best of weird families, wild animals and epic fails to TV. Until then, may we present this little piece of hilarity…
This Time Next Year
Karl Stefanovic will follow everyday people as they try to make their ambitions a reality over the course of a year. We’re guessing they’ll be more successful than us trying to give up that daily chocolate habit…
