Looking for something a little different for your next holiday?

Why not visit Tokyo’s Hotel Gracery, a Godzilla themed themed stay, equipped with claws over the bed head and a peering eye through the window.

The boutique hotel is one of the newest offerings in the city’s Shinjuku providence, and is set to open next month.

Costing between $400-$600 per night, the Godzilla suite isn’t for the budget conscious but rather geared towards the hardcore fans and those looking for a point of difference.

If that is out of your price range, you can also stay in a room that overlooks a giant Godzilla head, attached to the top of the hotel building.

They’ve left no stone uncovered, with even the bathroom is decked out Godzilla style.

A spokesperson for Hotel Gracery said the new hotel was themed for the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics… because what else do you think about when visiting Tokyo…

‘This Godzilla head is part of our strategy for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when many foreign tourists will visit and we want to provide the best experience to them,’ spokesman Eigo Ued told Metro.co.uk.

‘What better way to appeal to tourists than with a giant Godzilla figure?’

What do you think? Is it worth the price? Or would the novelty wear off quickly?
