Little Prince George is growing up before our eyes.
Now two and a half years old, the royal toddler has a legion of fans and followers – winning them over with his precious smile and cute outfits and ensembles.
But it seems he has another big fan, his own grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
That’s a mouthful though. So Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, this week admitted he has a special nickname for her.
The Queen is also understandably smitten with her granddaughter Charlotte.
“The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl, and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington, she was one of our first visitors here,” she said.
“It’s very special having a new little girl… I feel very, very lucky that George has got a little sister.”
Kate was gushing over the head royal and her care for the family – even with such a busy and important schedule.
Hear the Duchess’s first individual interview with The Daily Telegraph since she married Prince William in 2011.
The snippet from the interview comes one week before the Queen’s 90th birthday celebration.
