The singer has been criticised after taking a photo of her children at very significant sight in Germany.
The photo was taken at a Holocaust Memorial in Berlin, which was later posted to Instagram.
Pink was in Germany to perform part of her Beautiful Trauma world tour when she posted a series of photos that involved her two children, Willow Sage, 8, and Jameson Moon, 2, playing in between the pillars of Berlin’s memorial.
“Berlin, I love you,” the post started off. “And for all of the comments; these two children are in actuality Jewish, as am I and the entirety of my mother’s family. The very person who constructed this believed in children being children, and to me this is a celebration of life after death. Please keep your hatred and judgment to yourselves.”
Many voiced their concern that allowing children to run through a memorial was disrespectful, but many jumped to the artists’ defense.
@Pink I am a scholar of Holocaust Memorial representation and have spent many hours at the Berlin memorial—your kids did nothing wrong; you did nothing wrong; their laughter in the memorial serves as a rekindling of Jewish life in Berlin. pic.twitter.com/OZnJQ4YAze

@Pink Proud of your response to the shamers regarding your visit to the Holocaust museum. Any time we get to celebrate life is indeed precious. I admire how mentally strong you are

@Pink at the #Holocaust Memorial in Berlin; your children represent life, hope and spirit; the memorial represents the untimely passing of vulnerable, brave and courageous #Jewish human beings. Bravo Carey & Pink!#KUWTK @goodride@hartluck https://t.co/qKFHAyidyC
