Yolanda Foster is only 51 years old and she has just lost the ability to read and write.

Heartbreakingly, Foster has relapsed after a three-year battle with Lyme disease.

In a recent blog post for BravoTV.com (the show’s blog), the mother-of-three revealed why she hasn’t been very active on the site lately.

“I would like to apologize for my lousy participation in the blogging department at the moment. Although writing is usually my favorite thing to do, I unfortunately have lost the ability to do so in an intelligent matter at this time.”

In the post, Foster comments on the fact that her life has been affected in a supremely debilitating way, “[I have] lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV.”

“It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it,” she wrote.

Foster has always been fairly open with her fans about her struggle with Lyme disease and posted photos of her visit to the hospital in December.
