It looks like the people over at Disney have answered our many, MANY pleas with Variety reporting that cult favourite film Hocus Pocus is going to get a sequel!

While the original film was released back in 1993, fans have constantly called for our favourite witches to return. And now it seems that they might be, with the sequel reportedly being planned for the new Disney+ streaming platform.

The only downside at the moment is that the OG actresses who played the Sanderson sisters, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, have not been confirmed as part of the project yet.

But Variety has said that Disney is hopeful that all three of the ladies will sign on to recreate their infamous roles.

Jen D’Angelo, who wrote and co-produced Workaholics, will reportedly be creating the script for the Hocus Pocus sequel, but not much else is known at this point in terms of the team behind the project or what it will be about.

Either way, it truly is an almost-Halloween miracle!

Who else feels like watching the original now?
