We were all rocked by the news that Michael Buble’s beautiful three-year-old son had been diagnosed with cancer.
Now, Michael Buble’s sister-in-law Daniela has spoken out about her nephew’s cancer diagnosis.
Michael and his wife shared with fans the devastating news that their three-year-old son had been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing treatment, not saying what type of cancer their son had.
People have been quick to report it is leukaemia but Daniela wants people to stop speculating saying it’s not leukaemia and is not affecting the central nervous system and that Michael and the entire family are “broken in half”.
“The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means,” she said.
“Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say anymore. But it’s not leukaemia or the central nervous system as people are saying. It’s all I can say.”
Buble’s wife Luisana Lopilato previously told of her frustration at watching Noah suffer with burns. Noah was admitted to hospital after pouring hot water on himself in a domestic accident in June last year at the couple’s home in Argentina.
Revealing the seriousness of the incident in her first interview two months after it happened, Luisana said: “I have to dress his wounds and he suffers because it hurts and he complains. “I often ask myself why this happened but it was inevitable.
Buble and Lopilato revealed their son’s plight in a statement on Friday after speculation he was ill with mumps.
They explained Noah is undergoing treatment in the US but did not give details about his cancer.
Michael Buble also released a statement: “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US,” he said.
“We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping,” he said.
“We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
