Ever wanted to print shapes using cheese as your building blocks?
If for whatever reason you just answered yes, then your prayers have been answered!
Andrew Maxwell-Parish, who manages a university lab in California, had been trying to convince his students to build a 3D cheese printer for years, but no one would – so he took matters into his own hands.
Using a Cheez Whiz can (that’s spray cheese, for those playing at home), Andrew modified a Shapeoko mill for the three-axis system.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work quite as well as Andrew might’ve liked, though the only results he’s seen so far are those captured in the video above.
Still a pretty awesome idea, though!
