Lindsay Lohan has been teasing that she’s releasing new music for a little while now and we finally have our first look at the track!

The 33-year-old Mean Girl’s star dropped a small snippet of her song titled ‘Xanax’ on The Kris Fade Show.

“The song is called Xanax,” Kris explained. “It’s about anxiety and pressure and just taking care of yourself. And I think that’s really really cool. I think there’s a really cool message behind it.”

They then played about 30 seconds of the new single, which Lindsay told Kyle and Jackie O earlier this year, would debut very soon.

“I am recording again,” she told us, also adding that it would be out “sooner than you think”.

“I’m working with a certain really great producer and writer, so you’ll see.”

In the lyrics of the song ‘Xanax’ Lindsay sings, “Would you like to sit next to me? When you kiss me, I can’t breathe.

“I try to stay away from you, but you get me high. Only person in this town that I like. Guess I can take one more trip for the night – just for the night”.

And to be honest, it’s not all that bad! It’s quite catchy!

No word yet on exactly when it will be released in full but we can’t wait to hear the whole thing!
