Kylie Minogue has marked 10 years of being cancer free with a heartfelt post on social media, before hitting the red carpet at London’s Brit Awards with her new fiance Joshua Sasse.
The Australian singer posted a black and white photo of herself as a child and thanked her “nearest and dearest”, before thinking of those who are still suffering from the deadly disease.
“Behind the tears were relief and thanks and thoughts,” she remembered of her diagnosis.
“Thoughts of all those who are making their way towards this landmark, those who are past the landmark and of those who we sadly miss.”

Minogue was 37 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and underwent chemotherapy, which she likened to “experiencing a nuclear bomb”.
She took her battle with cancer public, bravely showing off her lack of hair after it fell out from treatment.
Doctors praised Minogue for bringing the disease to the fore, encouraging more women to get regular checks, in what they called the “Kylie effect”.
Newly engaged to actor Sasse, Minogue revealed her fiance is preparing to run the London Marathon to raise money for breast cancer care.

Minogue encouraged her fans to reach out and support Sasse, who has never run a marathon, and donate “so we can raise as much as possible”.
The duo made their first public appearance since they confirmed their engagement on Wednesday night, walking the red carpet of the Brit Awards arm-in-arm.
Minogue showed off her stunning engagement ring, while sporting a trendy black hat to match her black prom-style lace dress.
