On Friday it was announced that reality TV star Angie Kent would be Australia’s next Bachelorette and while some fans expressed concerns over casting yet another known woman in the role, after meeting her we have to say…
You’re all WRONG and Angie is going to be the best Bachelorette EVER!
Angie, who found fame on Gogglebox, revealed to Kyle and Jackie O this morning that she was approached by Network 10 for the role straight after leaving the jungle on the most recent season of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!
Having been single for about eight years now, it was kind of a no-brainer for Angie to accept and take on the job of handing out roses in the Bachie mansion.
Angie joined Kyle and Jackie O in studio this morning and not only did we learn that she’s an absolute legend, but we also found out exactly what she’s looking for in a man.
Basically Angie told us that she’s open to anything and she doesn’t necessarily have a type. But there are a few pieces of criteria that her perfect man will have to meet.
“What are you looking for? What do you hope walks down that pathway?” Kyle asked.
“You know what, I don’t have a type,” Angie revealed. “I’m not, you know, they have to be this or they have to be that. But they have to be funny. Like, you need to be a bit quirky, a bit nuts. In a good way.
“I want to have a laugh. That’s my big thing. I just want honesty and just to have passion.
“I don’t care if you’re a toilet cleaner but if you love doing it and you want to be the best toilet cleaner on the block, I dig it.”
We told you. She’s a legend!
