While speaking will the Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, Lauren from this season of Married At First Sight detailed how upset she had been with her experience on the show as she had genuinely signed up with the hope of finding the one.

Unfortunately though, Lauren said that she didn’t believe that this was the case with all of the contestants this season and she even confronted one of them who she didn’t believe was genuinely trying to find love.

And surprise surprise, the person in question was none other than resident villain, Ines.

So far this season Ines has been unbelievably rude and obnoxious towards her onscreen husband Bronson, and engaged in a cheating scandal that is so stiff and awkward that we can only assume the whole thing has been staged.

Therefore a big question on everyone’s lips has been whether or not Ines was recruited by producers to act in this way and create drama.

Today, during Lauren’s tell-all interview, a listener called up and asked Lauren, “Ines, was she an actress? Did you ever ask her that question?”

Turns out, us viewers at home weren’t the only ones who were doubtful about Ines’ intentions. Lauren revealed to us that she actually confronted Ines about it on the show.

“Absolutely, look I said to Ines when we were off set, I said, ‘Ines, look me dead in the eyes right now and tell me you’re not a paid actress’,” Lauren revealed.

“And she’s like, ‘Why does everyone think I’m a paid actress? Do you really think I’d be this stressed out and have lost this much weight if I was an actress? No. I’m so stressed out’.

“And I said, ‘So you’re telling me’, and I’m pointing at her, ‘this is just who you are?’.”

Oh burn! And as you can imagine Ines and Lauren weren’t really the closest of friends after that.

“Let’s just say Ines and I were kept in separate rooms,” Lauren said.

But in the end, Lauren said that all she could do was feel sorry for Ines, especially seeing as she is copping so much hate online at the moment.

“You’ve got to feel for the girl, I mean she obviously suffers some real underlying mental health issues and, I don’t know, initially I’m like, ‘You’re such an evil human’, but there has to be a reason for someone to behave the way she behaves,” revealed Lauren.

“You have to look at that, you have to step back, as a human and think, ‘Why is she behaving like that?’.”

Beau Ryan, who was filling in for Kyle this morning, then asked if Ines’ behaviour had been misconstrued in any way by editing.

Throughout the tell-all interview Lauren made mention of times that producers had manipulated things that she had said and how they had represented her wrongly, but she said that this didn’t appear to happen with Ines.

“Surely there’s a good side to her and a lot that we didn’t see,” Beau said.

“I’m not going to lie, I never saw a good side to her,” Lauren replied. “She’s genuinely, what you see is what you get.”
