Johnny Depp, 51, has been in Australia filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and has been injured. He is now flying back to the United States for surgery, but no news yet as to how he hurt himself. Reports indicate it is his hand that has been injured.

Production of the film reportedly will not be affected due to his absence. The plan is to shoot scenes around Depp’s character, Jack Sparrow, in the meantime.
