Rumours have been circulating that Fyre Festival’s event producer, Andy King, desperately wanted that infamous blow job scene cut from the Netflix documentary.
The sidekick-turned-hero of Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened became an international sensation after sharing a truly bizarre story from the disastrous festival that ended up becoming the most talked about moment from the documentary.
For those unaware of the story, King was the dedicated assistant to CEO Billy McFarland, and went above and beyond to keep the festival on track. This includes a time when he accepted to exchange a rather explicit sexual favour in return to acquire bottled Evian water for the festival.
“I went to them and said, ‘That cannot go into this documentary,'” King told TMZ.
Jase and PJ thought they’d address these rumours with the veteran event producer and set the record straight.
“My associate thought it might not be a good idea that I would be known as the ‘blow job king of the world’. He thought it might be a good idea to have it removed,” he revealed on the Jase and PJ show.
“The director said, ‘Andy, trust me, this is a really, really important part of this film and we will not embarrass you’ and I said, ‘okay’
“I knew the night of the premiere when I sat in the audience, and when that part came up, everybody stood up and gave me a standing ovation.
“I crawled under my seat.”
