You still love it like us, yeah?
Although it ended in 2012, the world is still obsessed with Gossip Girl, which launched the careers of Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick and it gave us some of the most memorable couples.
With Full House, Gilmore Girls and Boy Meets World nearly breaking the Internet with their revivals, surely we aren’t far off a Gossip Girl reboot, are we?
Well, apparently we are.
Gossip Girl executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have told E!News ”We haven’t explored some of those conversations. Maybe, I don’t know. We haven’t thought about it.”
However, Schwartz is very interested in how the show would now live, as Gossip Girl would have to embrace Snapchat, Instagram and all the other social medias.
”The world has become Gossip Girl now,” he said, before adding that when Cecily von Ziegesar wrote the first book, phones didn’t even have cameras on them.
While there are no plans for a reboot as yet, one star has said they would return to GG with no qualms, with Sebastian Stan saying to E! ” would do it, why not?”.
Never say never.
