He may have a reputation for being hot-headed in the kitchen, but Gordon Ramsay proved he has a soft-centre.
He offered a job via Twitter to a young chef who was fired on the same day he mentioned to his workplace that he suffers epilepsy.
Aaron Merry asked the international chef whether his dismissal was fair.
He sent out a tweet saying he suffered several fits before work that morning…
Well 3 epileptic fits this morning but because of how much college and team in kitchen mean to me coming college anyway, can’t let them down

He then asked Ramsay what he thought:
@GordonRamsay could do with your advice, got fired from my chef job on the way home on the same day I mentioned epilepsy , is that fair ?

Ramsay’s reply was one of outrage but also an offer of employment.
That’s ridiculous DM I will offer you a job https://t.co/QwskzyHlFQ

The young chef’s father, Steve Merry told Metro:
“Since Aaron got the reply, it’s all been a bit of a whirlwind, as you can imagine. It just shows the kind of guy Gordon is and all that he is about.
“He didn’t have to do this but it shows he’s actually in touch with Joe Public. We’re just waiting on a call from one of his team about Aaron starting the job.”
We can’t wait to know the end of this story!
