Find it hard to see Daniel Radcliffe as a sex symbol? What about Emma Watson?
If you said nay to the first and yay to the next, then Harry Potter himself has a lesson for you.
The 25 year old (can you believe he’s 25?!) has shown off his feminist roots during an interview with AP to promote his new movie Horns.
When asked about how his blossoming sex symbol status is strange for fans who watched him growing up, Daniel was quick to point out the same rule doesn’t apply for former co-star Emma Watson [watch above].
“Around the time of What If, the rom com coming out, a lot of people were saying ‘You’re really an unconventional romantic lead’, so eventually I got bored of hearing that and I kind of picked someone up on it,” he said.
“So I was like ‘What exactly about me is unconventional exactly? Like, tell me’, and she said ‘Well I think it’s probably the fact that, you know, we associated you with playing Harry, the young boy wizard.’
“My immediate response was ‘Well, the male population has had no problem sexualising Emma Watson immediately.'”
Well said Daniel. Well said.
