Terrifying footage has been released of a runaway trailer detached from a truck soaring down the EastLink.
The incident occurred around midday yesterday and thanks to a minor miracle, the trailer avoided crashing into any other traffic.
It eventually smashed into a concrete barrier on the side of the highway.
A faulty tow bar has been blamed.
