Donald Trump is soon to travel to the UK after Queen Elizabeth extended an invitation to the president. News of the trip has caused a series of Trump’s tweets from 2012 about Kate Middleton to resurface.

Well, it looks like Trump’s trip to the UK set to be as awkward as all hell.

In 2012 the Duchess of Cambridge hit the headlines after the paparazzi took photos of her sunbathing topless on a private balcony while on holiday in France.

Most people were revolted that Kate’s privacy had been invaded. Not Trump.

Of course, he weighed in on the scandal on Twitter. Starting with some victim blaming…

“Kate Middleton is great – but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude — only herself to blame” he wrote.

“Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and makes lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!” he added. Insinuating that it’s totally OK to take nude photos of people without their consent.

People on Twitter were quick to express their disgust.

According to The Mirror, the photographers stalked Kate and Prince William in France. The couple’s lawyer said they had suffered a ‘grotesque breach of privacy’ and felt ‘violated’ during a ‘highly intimate moment during a scene of married life’.
