In 48 hours time Bali Nine Death Row inmates Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran will be on the way to the island where they will be executed by a firing squad.

Chief prosecutor Momock Bambang Samiarso said the pair will be moved from Kerovokan prison to the island for execution today or tomorrow.

Once they arrive on the island it is understood that the pair will be given 72 hours notice prior to the executions taking place.

There has been some movement in the times that the executions will take place, and it’s said to be because Indonesia is preparing to execute 10 drug offenders – they most it has ever executed at one time.

President Joko Widodo has been contacted by leaders of various nations including Australia, France, the Netherlands and Brazil but so far has not been swayed.

The Australian government and legal representatives of Chan and Sukumaran are still said to be doing whatever they can to appeal to Indonesian governent officials, with foreign minister Julie Bishop saying that she ‘still has hope’ for the boys.
